Zoom brings focus mode, helping to focus on reading

Zoom has brought a new focus mode for students not to disturb each other. This will help the students to concentrate on their studies during the online class.

Focus mode prevents other participants from watching videos or screen shares, but the host will be able to view everyone’s webcam. Some of its features are similar to webinar mode. The teacher can turn the focus mode on during the presentation and turn off the focus mode during the class discussion.

This mode also seems to be available for free accounts. This feature allows participants to watch their videos and highlighted screen shares. They will also be able to see the participant’s name and any emoji reactions.
