Chery has officially entered the Nepalese market. They have signed an agreement with SPG Automobiles, a company under Sharda Group, as its authorized distributor for Nepal in a Virtual Signing Ceremony event held on the 12th of Aug 2021.

Founded in 1997, Chery is popularly known for its Passenger vehicles, Commercial vehicles, and Minivans.
The company has several vehicle assemblies and component manufacturing facilities in mainland China. Moreover, the vehicles are also assembled in 15 different countries.
Besides vehicle production, Chery has had many breakthroughs in automobile technology, including TGDI, DVVT, and CVT.
Chery Automobiles has implemented a globalization strategy since its establishment.
In 2012, Chery and Jaguar Land Rover Motors jointly invested in the establishment of Chery Jaguar Land Rover Motors Co. Ltd. It is the first Sino-British joint venture high-end automobile company.
More so, the company has exported to more than 80 countries with more than 1.8 million accumulative export volumes. To date, Chery continues to remain the biggest exporter of passenger vehicles in China for 18 years in a row.
