What is Disney Plus?

Disney Plus or Disney+ is an American on-demand video streaming site. Just like Netflix and Amazon Prime, it is also a subscription streaming portal.

What content does Disney+ has?

It has all the family-friendly content produced by The Walt Disney Company.  Family-friendly contents mean movies or content up to PG-13 ratings. It is also set to have movies from Disney proper, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Pixar, and National Geographic. Since there is Lucasfilm, so Star Wars will also be included.

What is the cost of Disney Plus in Nepal?

The cost of Disney Plus in Nepal is NPR 800 per month or NPR 8000 per year. This is an approx estimation as this service is currently not available in Nepal.

 

Update: Some of the USD cards issued by A-class bank (as directed by NRB) can be now used to purchase Disney Plus in Nepal.

FYI: The Central Bank of Nepal or popularly known as  NRB (Nepal Rastra Bank) has now allowed USD cards for a limit of up to USD 500 per year (for every citizen with no objection) and for more outward transactions (depending on USD income ) you need to always maintain inward ratio more than outward ratio. All the banks in Nepal are regulated by NRB.
