44 billion in Telecom revenue in one year, growth in data and voice usage
Nepal Telecom has earned 44 billion rupees in one year. Up to the fourth quarter of the financial year 2078/79, it has earned a total income of 44 billion 32 million 13 lakh 58 thousand rupees.
As of the fourth quarter of the financial year 2077/78, Telecom has earned a total income of 42 billion 209 million 2000 rupees. Last year, the total income of the company increased by 5 percent to 44 billion.
In the last year, Telecom has reached its net profit of 8 billion 38 million 88 thousand. Such profit was 7 billion 12 million 94 lakh 41 thousand in the year 2077/78. According to Telecom, the profit has increased due to the increase in the use of data and 4G voice services.
As the total income and profit increased, the operating income of the company also increased. Last year, Telecom’s operating income was 37 billion 88 million 99 million 58 thousand. In the previous year, Telecom’s operating income was 35.93 billion.
