Hearing Cooper’s words, Dr. Angle seemed to fall from a cliff. Because he had no words to communicate. Perhaps his competitor, Cooper, had made a cordless phone call before him. This cellular mobile was the first phone in the world.

Motorola company researcher Martin Cooper. He called AT&T’s Joel Engle from a Motorola Dyna-Tac 8000X handphone he had built. At that time the weight of this mobile was 2 kg.

Dr. Although Cooper first invented the mobile phone in 1973, it took 10 years to reach the market. A lot of research was done about the phone and later its sales started in 1983.

When the sale of mobile phones started in New York City, USA, its market price was 3,995 US dollars, i.e. 10,000 US dollars according to the current market price.

At that time, the weight of the mobile was reduced to 1.1 kg. This 9-inch tall Motorola mobile phone was only used to pick up the phone and talk. There were no facilities like taking pictures and GPS system like now. There was no facility to insert SIM card.

90-year-old Dr. Cooper laughs and says, ‘Do you believe it? Now we are developing the phone based on the car and later it will help us for 100 years for home and office work.’
