A young man who cheated 600,000 by creating a fake profile of a woman on Facebook was arrested

Police arrested 26-year-old Bishwa Sharma of Parbat Modi Rural Municipality-2 on the charge of cheating by using social media on Thursday.

He created a fake profile of a woman on social media Facebook and sent a message to become a friend.

On the basis of a complaint that he demanded more money even though he was able to send about 60 lakh rupees from various bank accounts through bank accounts and digital wallets, the police deputed from Cyber Bureau Bhotahiti arrested him from Parbat Modi Rural Municipality-2.

Necessary investigation is being conducted on him by the district court of Kathmandu for the offense of fraud by using social media and extending the deadline by 5 days.
