Agreement between Huawei and ICT Foundation Nepal for Digital Nepal Conclave 2023
An agreement has been signed between Huawei and ICT Foundation Nepal for the Digital Nepal Conclave 2023 project.
Stakeholders, policy makers, leading people of the digital industry will be present at the conclave, which will be organized as an effort for digital transformation.
Huawei Nepal CEO Hwang Jun and ICT Foundation Nepal President Rajan Lamsal signed the agreement at the Huawei Nepal office on Friday.
Digital Nepal Conclave 2023 is being organized on 8th and 9th of June in Solti Kathmandu. In the conclave, experts from South Korea, Singapore, India, Bangladesh, America, etc. will be present for presentations along with Nepal.
Organizers informed that the conclave, which will be held under the slogan of ‘Fostering Digitally Competent Nepal’, will emphasize Nepal’s capability for digital transformation and the necessary policies and implementation.
As a pre-event of the Digital Nepal Conclave, the Foundation conducted the Digital Province Dialogue program in all seven provinces. According to the foundation, a research booklet covering the digital situation of all seven provinces will be published this year.
‘Digital Nepal Conclave’ is a comprehensive conference started by the Foundation last year to support the campaign of Digital Nepal.
Along with the conclave, Huawei is also organizing the Mobile Nepal Congress, where one can view the exhibition and get information about new technologies such as 5G, AI.
Based on the subject matter that Huawei Mobile Nepal Conference is focused on, the conference has set its roadmap for Gigaverse Initiative, Ultra-Automation Speed Up, Intelligent Computing and Network as a Service, Different Expected Demands, and Environment, Social and Governance.
Huawei is confident that Mobile Nepal Congress 2023 will help bring global innovations and solutions that have useful and commercial potential in Nepal to accelerate the journey towards digital Nepal.
