Apple is set to open a paid podcast subscription on June 15. The feature will be released worldwide on June 15, according to a report by The Verge. Apple first announced this on April 15 at the Spring Forward event.

It also has the facility for creators to set their own price for listening to ad-free audio and exclusive content, from which Apple deducts 30 percent in the first year of subscription and 15 percent in other years to come.

With iOS 14.6, Apple introduced a paid podcast feature, but it was a little late to launch.
