Digital board to reduce vehicle accidents

Digital boards have been placed at four major locations in Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city to reduce traffic accidents.

Digital boards have been placed at Tulsipur Bus Park, Birendra Chowk, Gotikhola and Jaspur to enforce traffic rules and provide more information about it.

At the inauguration of the digital board, Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city chief Tikaram Khadka said that this board will help in reducing accidents and everyone should be aware of traffic awareness.

Similarly, Highway Safety and Traffic Management Office Lumbini Province Chief Superintendent of Police Krishna Prasai informed that many accidents occur due to unhealthy competition and high speed. He emphasized that the general public should be informed about traffic rules to reduce accidents.

Vinil KC, a young businessman of Tulsipur sub-metropolitan ward No. 5 and Tulsipur, provided financial support for keeping the digital board.

In the event, Suresh Hamal, consultant of the National Transport Federation, said that to reduce accidents, there should be a close relationship between transporters, workers and traffic police.
