Even if you don’t have a Facebook account, use Messenger like this
Someone may want to chat with other people without using social media to the fullest. For this, Facebook allows you to use Messenger without a Facebook account.
Following the procedure below, you can use Messenger on iOS and Android without a Facebook account.
Using Messenger from a deactivated Facebook account
Before 2019, you only needed a contact number to create a Facebook Messenger account, but now you only need a Facebook account. But there is no obligation to have an active Facebook account.
Even if you previously had a deactivated Facebook account, you can still use it for Messenger. If you login to Messenger using your old ID, you can use Messenger even if you don’t have an active Facebook account.
How to use Messenger without a Facebook account
As before, you can’t create an account directly in Messenger, so you can deactivate your Facebook account again by creating a new account and opening Messenger.
To do this, open the Messenger app and click on Create New Account, after which a browser opens to create a Facebook account. After that you have to sign up by giving the requested information.
You can then start using Messenger to deactivate Facebook, which works just like a Facebook account.
