IME enters 23rd year, using technology to make remittance services simple and secure

On the occasion of entering the 23rd year of its establishment, IME Limited has organized a special program in Kathmandu on Monday.

The ceremony celebrated with the main slogan of “Continuous Journey of Faith” was attended by the enthusiastic presence of the Vice Presidents of IME Limited and IME Group, directors of affiliated companies, chief executive officers, management heads and others.

In the event, Hem Raj Dhakal, Co-Founder and Managing Director of IME Group, remembered the business journey of IME and expressed his sincere gratitude to all the well-wishers including the customers, Government of Nepal, Nepal Rastra Bank, regulatory bodies, business partners, employees and others who have continuously supported this journey.

Mentioning that the customer’s choices, needs and market are changing, he said that the remittance service will be made more sophisticated, convenient and secure by using the latest technology.

Managing Director Dhakal mentioned that IME is committed to contribute to the formal economy of the country through remittances through legal means and will diversify its businesses and expand investments.

On the same occasion, Suman Pokharel, Director of IME Limited and Senior Vice President of IME Group, said that by promoting the digital economy ecosystem, making maximum use of fintech, the remittance service will be made more sophisticated, simple and diversified.
