Insurance Authority payments are now online
The Nepal Insurance Authority has joined the payment system of Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL).
For this, Nepal Insurance Authority Executive Director Rajuraman Paudel and NCHL Chief Executive Officer Nileshman Singh Pradhan have signed the agreement.
According to the agreement, the authority’s internal payment system is paired with NCHL’s National Payment Interface (NPI), among various payments, various types of payment transactions including salary, vendor payment, investment, etc. can be made directly between the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
It is believed that cooperation with Nepal Insurance Authority and NCHL will help to further encourage the use of digital payment methods by adding a new dimension to the field of insurance.
The company said that the Nepal Insurance Authority, which is a regulatory body that organizes, regulates, inspects and supervises the insurance business in Nepal, has always emphasized the use of digital means to increase the effectiveness of the service.
