According to reports, the company may launch the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus with a 48-megapixel primary rear camera like the iPhone 14 Pro.

With the help of this new sensor, users will be able to take high resolution pro photos. According to a MacRumors report citing analyst Jeff Pu, the regular iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will have the same 48-megapixel rear cameras as the iPhone 14 Pro models.

This camera will use a triple-stacked sensor that will allow you to capture more light photos with better image quality. With this, users will be able to take photos on Apple Pro RAW.

According to experts, Apple will face delays in the production of iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus this year. It is argued that the delay could be due to the production of the stacked 48 megapixel camera sensor.

For now, the iPhone 15 series is also expected to be launched in the month of September as usual. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are expected to be powered by the A16 Bionic chip.

While the Pro models are believed to run on the A17 Bionic SoC. It is said that this year’s iPhone model will be given a USB Type-C port for charging.

The current iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus include dual rear camera units. It includes a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera with f÷1.7 aperture and a 12-megapixel sensor paired with an ultra-wide-angle lens with f÷2.4 aperture.

In contrast, the triple rear camera unit on the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro Max featured a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor with second-generation sensor-shift optical image stabilization and a 48-megapixel main camera with an f÷1.78 aperture.
