Meanwhile, Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has also given his response. According to a report by The Verge, Zuckerberg has discussed Vision Pro with his staff. He says that the Vision Pro is seven times more expensive than Meta’s Quest.

Zuckerberg said, ‘This computing could be a good tool for the future. But it is not a tool as expected.’

Zuckerberg said there is no magic solution to Apple’s Vision Pro. According to him, the difference between Apple’s and Meta’s headsets is that Vision Pro uses a high-resolution display.

“Furthermore, it can be found that the battery used by Apple consumes a lot of energy and the power system costs seven times more than our headset,” said Zuckerberg. From this headset, we can also find many areas to improve the Quest headset.’

Apple’s Vision Pro controls eye movements and hand gestures. It also has a transparent display and a light design.

The Vision Pro starts at $3,500. While the Meta Quest Pro, Meta’s most expensive headset, starts at $1,000. Because of this, Zuckerberg responded that Apple’s products are more expensive than they should be.

Zuckerberg responded to the pricing of the Apple Vision Pro device, saying that Meta’s upcoming Quest 3 headset will cost only $499 compared to the Vision Pro’s $3499.

Due to the low price of Quest 3, a large number of users will be able to use this device. However, Apple’s announcement seems to add challenges for Meta in the AR VR market.
