Nokia C21, C21 Plus Price in Nepal, Specifications, Availability

Nokia has announced the successor to last year’s C20 and C20 Plus. Dubbed C21 and C21 Plus, these are entry-level handsets that run on the Android 11 Go edition. So, let’s get into the specs, features, availability, and price of the Nokia C21 and C21 Plus in Nepal.

Nokia C21, C21 Plus Overview:

Design and Display

Starting with the display, both the Nokia C21 and C21 Plus flaunt a 6.5-inch IPS panel with HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Contrary to their predecessor, the smartphones have a metal chassis and toughened glass on the front to protect them from scratches. The Plus variant also has an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance.

Performance

Powering the C21 and C21 Plus is a Unisoc SC9863A chipset. The silicon is fabricated on a 28nm process and comprises eight Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.6 GHz. The graphics are handled by a PowerVR GE8322 GPU.

Over on the memory front, the Plus variant goes up to 4GB of RAM while the vanilla C21 caps out at 3GB RAM. However, they both are available in either 32GB or 64GB storage configurations. And, it’s expandable via a microSD card.

Moreover, they boot on Android 11 Go edition and the brand has confirmed two years of security patches. However, there’s no word on whether the smartphones will get any major OS upgrades or not.

Camera

Talking about the cameras, the C21 Plus features a dual-camera setup in a rectangular camera cutout. There’s a 13 MP main camera with a 2MP depth sensor and an LED flash. The C21, on the other hand, sports a circular camera cutout that houses just an 8MP lens. On the front, both have a 5MP sensor in a tear-drop notch.

Rest of the specs

In terms of battery, the C21 has a 3000mAh cell that supports 5W charging via a micro-USB port. Interestingly, the C21 Plus comes in two battery sizes—5050mAh and 4000mAh cell. In either case, it supports 10W charging that works over a micro-USB port. For biometrics, they come with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
