As known, OnePlus has become a flagship maker, killing its own ‘Flagship Killer’ status. The OnePlus 11 went official some months ago with top of the lines specs like Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and LTPO3 fluid display. Although it features a capable triple camera setup, the quality is not there yet against the likes of iPhone 14 Pro and Galaxy S23 Ultra. OnePlus 12 Rumors:
Yogesh Brar, an Indian tipster on Twitter tweeted regarding the key improvements on OnePlus 12. As per the tweet, the Chinese brand is aiming to provide a full-fledged flagship experience in the upcoming flagship phone.

1-inch Sensor and a Periscope Lens
As per rumors, the OnePlus 12 will primarily focus on cameras. The flagship phone will likely house a 1-inch sensor, allowing more light for better photography with natural bokeh. For early speculation, the phone might get a Sony IMX989 lens which is already there on the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The main camera is surely getting an upgrade while, the brand is also likely to up its game on the zooming faculty.
OnePlus 11
Rumors are hinting at a periscope lens for those zoom shots with superior quality. Meanwhile, speculations are also here about a 32MP Sony IMX709 RGBW telephoto lens with improved quality.
New Gen Display
The upcoming phone will get an improved display. For reference, the OnePlus 11 sports a QHD+ Fluid AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and LTPO3 technology. So, its successor might house the same res display with improved LTPO tech and probably, a higher refresh rate (144Hz).
Faster Charging
The company is also rumored to improve the charging speed this time. The OnePlus 11 features 100W fast charging. So, the OnePlus might bring back the 150W fast charger from the OnePlus 10T for the upcoming flagship phone.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
The flagship phones from OnePlus always debut with the latest Snapdragon chipsets. So, it’s safe to assume that the OnePlus 12 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. This unannounced silicon from Qualcomm will reportedly include one prime Cortex-X4 CPU core at 3.7 GHz, paired with 5 performance and 2 efficiency cores.
