Realme C53 108MP camera variant to launch on 19th this July


Looking back, Realme initially launched the C53 in Malaysia in May this year with a 50MP camera sensor. However, only today Realme announced their plans to relaunch the C53 with an upgraded 108MP camera, giving a sneak peek of the phone through its microsite. Here is all the information gathered from those leaked images regarding the upcoming Indian variant of the Realme C53 with 108MP mode.

Design and Display

Design-wise, the new Realme C53 variant showcases a boxy appearance with flat frames and curved edges. The phone will measure 7.99mm in thickness and will be available in flashy gold color options.

The rear camera module features dual camera sensors and an LED flash, not in a squircle-shaped camera island like the previous C53 version. The circular rings on the back panel add a unique touch to the whole design.

As per the early visuals, the handset has a volume rocker and a power button with a fingerprint sensor on the right edge, while the left side houses the SIM card slot. The bottom of the phone features a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, a speaker grill, and a microphone.

On the front, the phone sports a waterdrop notch that houses the selfie shooter. Also, the narrow bezels contribute to a sleek display look.

Camera

The Realme C53 was launched originally with a 50MP primary camera, but the new variant features a significant upgrade. The handset will be available with a 108MP primary camera to deliver detail and clarity in shots.

Alongside the powerful camera, the 108MP variant Realme C53 will support 18W fast charging, which is slightly slower than the global variant’s 33W fast charging.

While the upcoming 108MP variant of the Realme C53 is based on the previous model, it remains to be seen if the rest of the specs will be the same. The new variant is expected to be available initially in India from July 19 through official distributors and possibly on Flipkart.
