And now, rumours are emerging about the Galaxy M34, which is set to debut in July for under Rs. 40,000 in Nepal. It is rumoured that the upcoming Galaxy M34 might not be much different from the Galaxy A34. Samsung India’s support page has revealed a new model number SM-M346B/DS, indicating it’s the Galaxy M34. There are no details regarding the specifications on the page though. Still, going by the speculations, the Galaxy M34 is likely to take a lot of cues from the Galaxy A34. Hence, the display, cameras and performance might be identical while the battery size might get bigger.
Design and Display
The upcoming Galaxy M34 might look similar to the A34. On the front side, we might see the U-shaped notch. While there is a high chance of Samsung retaining a plastic frame and plastic back panel. However, the Galaxy M34 might be void of IP67 dust and water resistance. As for the display, the M34 might feature the same 6.6-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD resolution.

The Galaxy A34 uses a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset. This is a 5G silicon with two Cortex-A78 cores at 2.6 GHz for performance and six Cortex-A55 units at 2 GHz for efficiency. On the software side, we can expect OneUI 5.1 built on top of Android 13.
Camera
Getting to the optics, the Galaxy M34 will probably retain the triple camera setup from the A34. Hence, the main camera shall be the 48MP shooter with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide and 5MP macro unit. Upfront, we might see the same 13MP selfie snapper.
