The Fan Edition or FE lineup was first introduced by Samsung with the Galaxy S20 FE. With this, Samsung also committed to launching “FE” models of its flagships every year. And now, renders of the forthcoming S21 FE have surfaced online. Let us now take a closer look at the new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE: Rumors Roundup

As I mentioned earlier, it doesn’t come as a surprise to see a Galaxy S21 FE leak. OnLeaks, a well-known tipster, was the first to share the phone’s renders. Here, the camera bump on the smartphone looks identical to that on the Galaxy S21. But instead of being a distinct color, it will match the color of the back panel.

For now, Onleaks hasn’t revealed the detailed information regarding the device’s specifications. We anticipate S21 FE to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 processor with some design compromises.

The dimensions are reported to be 155.7 x 74.5 x 7.9mm. It’s slightly taller and wider than the Galaxy S21, but it’s the same thickness. The frame around the edges is metal, while the back panel is glastic. As we already know by now, glastic is a hybrid between plastic and glass, which Samsung has been using in its premium mid-range and even flagship phones including the Galaxy Note 20 and the standard S21.

What’s more?

Still, the phone’s back panel will boast a glass-like appearance. We anticipate that the smartphone will have a 12MP main sensor, a 64MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultrawide lens, similar to the Galaxy S21. Similarly, leaks include a punch-hole cutout for a selfie shooter.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE Launch Date

Although there has been no confirmation or rumors regarding the device’s launch, we anticipate that the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition to be available later this year. Previous leaks revealed the information in its color combinations as well. It is expected to be released in five different color configurations.
