Samsung ditched its iconic physical rotating bezel in favor of a digital one on last year’s Galaxy Watch 5 series. But the company is ready to bring it back with the upcoming Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. To recall, 2021’s Galaxy Watch 4 Classic was the last Samsung watch to feature this kind of bezel. Anyway, a new leak has shed light on the price and other key details of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 Classic.

Design and Display
While the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic will regain a physical rotating bezel, the regular Galaxy Watch 6 will have the same digital rotating bezel as its predecessor. The Classic model will be available in two dial sizes: 43mm and 47mm contrary to how the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro came in a single 45mm option only. Likewise, the Watch 6 will also feature two dial sizes: 40mm and 44mm.

In terms of colorways, the Watch 6 Classic will come in black and silver options, while the Watch 6 model will have an additional color option of beige.
Other than this, Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 series will arrive with a Super AMOLED display with Sapphire crystal glass protection on top. These smartwatches will also feature an IP68 rating and 5 ATM water resistance. As per reports, the Galaxy Watch 6 series will be powered by the unreleased Exynos W930 chip.
Battery
And like the vanilla Galaxy Watch 6, the Classic variant will also get a bigger battery. The Pro model is also expected to get a bigger battery this time. In terms of charging, both smartwatches will support 10W fast charging like last year and use the same ER-OR900 charger as the Watch 5 series.

Software-wise, we can expect to see these smartwatches boot on WearOS with Samsung’s One UI skin on top. As usual. This time too, iOS support is unlikely. There’s no leak about any new health and fitness tracking features yet.

As per DealabsGalaxy Watch 6 Classic will cost EUR 419.99 (43mm) and EUR 449.99 (47mm) for the Bluetooth-only model. And Samsung is offering the LTE model for EUR 50 more on both dial sizes. Samsung is hosting a “Galaxy Unpacked” event in the last week of July in South Korea to unveil Galaxy Watch 6 series; alongside Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.
