‘Silence Unknown Caller Feature’ will be available on WhatsApp
Chatting app WhatsApp has announced a new privacy feature for its users through an official blog post.
Along with this, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has also announced a new privacy feature for WhatsApp users. Zuckerberg has given information about the new feature from his official Facebook account.
Company CEO Zuckerberg has announced Silence Unknown Caller feature for users. Earlier, WhatsApp introduced the Lock Chat feature for its users.
What is Silence Unknown Color feature, how does it work?
With the help of the new feature of WhatsApp, users can set special settings about unknown or unknown calls on their WhatsApp. A new feature has been introduced for WhatsApp users who are receiving unwanted calls from unknown numbers on their accounts.
With this feature, calls from unknown numbers can be silenced by going to privacy settings. Once this feature is activated, incoming calls from unknown numbers will be automatically silenced. That is, the user’s phone will not ring due to this feature. Even if the phone does not ring, the information of these calls will be available in the app, so that no important call is missed.
WhatsApp’s new privacy feature has been made available for Android and iOS users. After installing the latest update of the app from the Google Play Store, users will be able to use the new feature. On the other hand, iOS users can install the new update from the App Store.
