College students built the satellite using AA batteries and a $20 microprocessor. At least $50 million is required to put any satellite into orbit.

But researchers and students from Brown University have succeeded in building a satellite using AA batteries and a $20 microprocessor.

Last year also, the university sent a satellite like Pauroti into space for less than 10,000 dollars. Now the name of the new satellite is Sbudinik.

The students also placed a 3D snail on the satellite, which was seen after going into 520 km orbit. Now the satellite is at an altitude of 470 km.
