The hacked Twitter account of the Prime Minister’s Office is back

The hacked Twitter account of the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers @PM_Nepal_ is back again. Unauthorized tweets were made on the Twitter handle from Wednesday evening.

According to the Prime Minister’s Office, there was unauthorized access to the Twitter handle even when all security measures including two factor authentication were adopted.

The public office has informed that the investigation into the account hacking incident is ongoing and the truth about this will be revealed soon.
