The Nepali team reached the semi-finals of the ABU Asia Pacific Robot Contest

The Nepali team has entered the semi-finals of the ABU Asia Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) 2022 competition. The Tribhuvan University IOE team from Nepal participated in this Robocon, which has representatives from every country.

Nepal has managed to enter the semi-finals by defeating India’s team India University: Nirma University and Team Thailand: Nakhonayok Technical College on the world stage. There are 6 members in the representative team from Nepal.

A robot developed by Tribhuvan University IOI plays a game called Lagori, also known as Lakkudhal. ABU Robocon 2022 live match is also happening on YouTube.

ABU Robocon is a competition organized by the Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union since 2002. This competition works for the development of engineering field and broadcasting technology.
