The pressure of big companies to increase the price of Granth EV which is going to be produced in Nepal
Some companies have put pressure on the price of electric scooter Granth, which is being prepared to be produced in Nepal. Some scooter companies in the market have said that the price of Granth EV is low and they are pushing to increase it.
Granth Electric Vehicle Pvt Ltd, which is preparing to produce quality electric scooters at a cheaper price than others, has moved ahead with the production of Granth EV in Nepal from April.
But when the work reaches the final stage, the big companies have started putting pressure to increase the price of the scooter. Granth EV has said that it will provide electric scooters with high-class facilities for 2.5 lakh to 3 lakh rupees.
‘We have prepared to give an electric scooter for 2.5 to 3 lakh rupees,’ the company said in a statement, ‘but the company selling other scooters available in the market has pressured them to keep the same price as theirs.’
If Granth doesn’t set the price of EVs according to the price of their scooters, they are threatening that it will be difficult for the industry.
Especially the pressure has come from the scooter company of the person who is a director in the bank. The company says that Granth EV is 1 lakh cheaper than other scooters available in the market.

A side drive motor is used in the electric scooter made by Granth. Due to this motor, the scooter can be easily rolled up and down.
It also has good and powerful performance. Dhung says that Tesla also uses side drive motor technology based on permanent magnet synchronization motor technology.
Hub motors are generally used in other scooters. This plain area can be easy to move but it cannot move well uphill and downhill.
Lithium iron phosphate battery is used in the company’s scooters. This battery gives more range. 3 years warranty on battery and motor.
The scooter will be fully charged in 4 to 4 and a half hours and will give a maximum range of 110 km. Battery brake regenerated system is used in it.
Due to this, the power spent when braking comes back to the battery and recharges it, which will give more range. Fast charger technology has also been placed in the scooter.
