World would be ‘Celebrating the gift of blood’ on 14th of June. Yes, we
are also going observe June 14 as World Blood Donor Day 2012. I am going
to donate my blood for the first time on 20th, March 2012 at my college.
I and my college friends are oraganizing Blood Donation Programme inside
our college (King’s College, Kathmandu) in co-operation with Jyoti –
Light to Life.
Do you know More Blood means More Life? Donate blood and serve the
humanity. If you ask me why one should give or donate blood to blood
bank or Blood Transfusion Service then I simply kindly request to read
the followings.
1. Our donated blood saves someone’s life so why don’t we donate blood?
2. Every boy or girl should start donating blood with his or 18th
birthday.
3. If you are donating blood then congratulation you are participating
in campaign for saving human lives.
4. You do not predict when accident comes. In an emergency condition or
due to accdients anyone or even you might need blood at any time, so
please if possible try to donate blood regularly and be a great human by
saving other human lifes.
