Nawayug Shrestha, striker from Team Nepal have been declared as the best player of the whole match. He became the tournament’s most valuable player. In addition, he also became top scorer in this International Tournament. Bimal Gharti Magar of Nepal was declared Man of the finals. He opened the account by scoring the first goal of the final match against Bahrain. In this tournament he scored total of two goals.

Anjan Bista, this boy too played brilliantly today. That header before first goal and that awesome chasing assist. I was impressed by his playing style and his effort was outstanding. In fact I felt for a moment that you are a valuable player. I can see the bright future of Nepalese football with the players like you. Hats off brother.

At the age of 17, he scored a goal against India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and now against Bahrain (and a assist too). So I never forget his contribution for U16, U17 and U19 squad. Magar is one of the rising star in Nepali Football.
One more good news came while producing this post that All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) would give Rs 5 Lakhs to players of winning team, coach and officials.
