After a long wait, the OPPO sub-brand – Realme finally presented the new Realme GT Master and Realme GT Master Explorer Edition, designed by the Japanese design master Naoto Fukasawa, and equipped with Snapdragon 870, Samsung 120Hz curved screen, sensor Sony IMX766 and much more. All at a maximum price of 3199 yuan, about NRs 58,737 at the curent exchange rate.

Naoto Fukasawa has previously designed many popular smartphones for Realme/OPPO, including special editions such as “White Onion Garlic”, “Red Brick Cement” and others. This time, he designed the Realme GT Master series with suitcase as inspiration, encouraging young people to keep traveling and exploring, even with current travel restrictions.

The Realme GT Master Edition series has four colors: Gray, Apricot, Fresh Snow Mountain and Sunrise. The first two models are designed with cases that use the industry’s first three-dimensional leather craft. The colors are trendy and eye-catching, and there isn’t too much of a business look. The surface is also treated with an oil stain resistant material, waterproof to fingerprint proof and the details are perfect.

In terms of configuration, the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition has been updated to the Snapdragon 870 processor, which is one of the most widely used 5G chips this year. Performance and power consumption are well balanced. It supports high framerate modes for popular games like King Glory and Peace Elite. The unique GT mode also delivers higher performance. The smartphone is also equipped with up to 12 GB of memory and can reach the equivalent of 19 GB of memory capacity through memory expansion technology, allowing you to run more applications in the background without lag.

On the other hand, the Realme GT Master Edition comes equipped with a Snapdragon 778G SoC, paired with 8 GB of RAM and 5 GB expansion, which corresponds to 13 GB memory in total.

As for the screen, the GT Master series is equipped with a 6.55-inch Samsung AMOLED display that supports 120 Hz refresh rate, adaptive adjustment with three speeds, 480 Hz touch sampling rate, maximum brightness of 1100 nits and uses COP packaging technology with a very thin lower edge. At the same time, it has passed the HDR 10+ certification and the screen quality is very good. In addition, it also supports 10240 levels of dimming and CC dimming, both of which are used to reduce eye strain.

Photography is another highlight of the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition. The selfie lens on the front uses a Sony sensor of 32 megapixels, while on the back we have triple camera setup with the main camera being the IMX766 sensor developed together with Sony.

The main camera has a 50 megapixels sensor with a size of 1/1.56 inches, the amount of light incidence has increased significantly, and there is support for OIS (optical image stabilization), full-pixel omnidirectional focusing and hardware-level DOL-HDR for clearer image quality.

There’s also a 16-megapixel Sony sensor with ultra-wide angle lens, an ultra-wide 123-degree field of view that supports ultra-wide-angle night scene mode, and a macro lens.

The Realme GT Master instead uses a 64 megapixel rear camera, an 8 megapixel wide-angle lens and a 4 cm macro lens.

In terms of photography and video recording functions, the new smartphones have introduced a new street photography mode, which supports ultra-clear DIS recording, three built-in filters and other functions, as well as unique images and video preset to shoot starry sky. You can even take a picture of the starry sky with a 4 minute exposure.

Regarding cooling performance, it is equipped with a 5-layer cooling mechanism such as VC liquid cooling, and the total cooling area is 12,387.4mm square or more.
