CAMERA
The F3 Plus comes with a selfie camera with two lenses, one 16 megapixels main lens and 8-megapixel secondary lens. The secondary camera is of 120-degree wide angle lens. That is, when you activate selfie mode by going into the camera feature of this phone, it gives you two options. The 16-megapixel main camera is activated if own’s selfie has to be taken. If you want to take a big background or a group selfie with more people fitting in a single picture, then you can activate group selfie mode by clicking on the group icon under the camera button.
Words on Camera
The Oppo F3 Plus front-facing camera is great because of its own reputation and many people are liking a lot. Quality of photos is good and I had not seen any complaints against the pixel breakdown that we usually face in most of the Flagship front-facing camera phones.
Color reproduction is also quite accurate. The Flash is not given. But then if you take a picture in flash mode it takes effect from the light of the white screen. However, there is an impact on the picture taking speed. On such occasions, I found that off-flash mode had some over-exposures in photos. Beautifying tool might help you.
The front camera is 1.6 megapixels with F 1.7 aperture and is equipped with Sony IMX398 sensor. Even in natural light, and in low light, I got good results from the front camera. However, I was not able to retain picture details in other situations.
As we know, Oppo has fully focused on Camera Experience. So, to the expectation of the people, there will be room for improvement. It has Timelapse and Panorama feature too.
Design and Display
It’s a 6-inch display phone and size seems to be quite big for some peoples. The grip is good and it looks good with the metal unibody. The fingerprint sensor lies in the front bottom and its response is quite fast. The full HD display brightness is good and goes well in sunlight too.
Battery
It comes with 4000 MAh battery which lasts for less than 1.5 days. With VOOC Fast Charging, it charges more than 90% in an hour. But the charger is quite big in size. If we look this phone’s segment, it disappointed me because of the absence of the USB Type C charging and these days USB Type C has become like a universal feature in most of the newer phones.
Performance
It features dual SIM with 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage. If you want, instead of a SIM, you can increase storage with the memory card. Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 chipset’s performance is good and as long as you are not playing heavy games, it does not feel like heating. Based on Marshmallow Based Color OS 3.0, it operates on Android 6.0 while most newer smartphones come with Nought. 7.0. It has no FM radio feature too.
Price
The price of Oppo F3 Plus Price In Nepal is NPR 52,240.00.
