Accountant ATM, mobile and internet banking users in front of Bagmati Pradesh

According to a statistic, Bagmati is ahead of ATM, mobile and internet banking users. According to the study report on financial access to Nepal made public by Nepal Rastra Bank, the use of ATM, mobile and internet banking is seen in Bagmati Pradesh.

In Bagmati, there are 26.66 per cent ATM users, 33.12 per cent mobile banking users and 6.40 per cent internet banking users.

The lowest number of ATM users are in Gandaki. Where 14.50 percent per account are ATM users. Similarly, the lowest number of mobile banking users in State 2 was 27.01 percent and the lowest number of internet banking users was 0.52 percent in Karnali.

In the metropolis, there are 27.28 per cent ATM users and 6.48 per cent internet banking users. In the village municipality, account users are 10.61 percent and internet banking users are 1.08 percent.

The highest number of mobile banking users per account is 33.36 percent in the villages. In terms of age, the use of technology is higher in people above 20 years of age and the use of technology above that age is gradually decreasing.

As the use of technology is high among the younger generation, the use of technology will increase in the coming days, said NRB.
