Human intelligence is revealed through experience, while machine intelligence is demonstrated through sensors. Artificial intelligence is the ability to identify problems and solve them through machines.

The ability to recognize faces with a mobile phone camera, imitate voices, drive an automatic car without human assistance, get search results on Google, and be able to play chess or other games on a computer are examples of AI.

AI will work on the basis of data in computers and computer networks. Words, images and sounds in computers and computer networks are called data in computer language.

Therefore, in the future world, data has started to be understood as gold. Where there is a lot of data, that is wealth. The data remains on the server. The next challenge is to protect the data. Because cyber crime is increasing.

An algorithm is a step-by-step process or set of rules to solve a problem. Algorithms use more and more data. Algorithms are used in computer applications. Input is the initial step of the algorithm and output is the last step of the algorithm.

Algorithms have well-defined winnings and winnings. The designed algorithm is language independent. In the year 2018, after the creation of the natural language processing engine Bert by IBM, rapid progress has been seen in the field of AI.

In 2018, after the creation of the natural language processing engine Bert by IBM, rapid progress has been seen in the field of AI. Such progress seen in the field of information technology will not stop but will increase.

The information technology developed by the human community by using natural knowledge and skills has facilitated the human community on the one hand and has also put it under siege on the other hand. When information technology is used, it facilitates human activities, but when it is misused, it leads to the court of law.

The current AI tools including chatgpty work through machines. Machines work faster than humans and without making mistakes. In other words, the machine is more honest than the human and the machine follows the human’s orders. Machines don’t get emotional like humans and machines don’t get tired as fast as humans.

Such progress seen in the field of information technology will not stop but will increase. The information technology developed by the human community using natural knowledge and skills has facilitated the human community on the one hand and has also put it under siege on the other hand.

This leads to accustoming oneself to the tools of information technology, that person or group can stay in their profession or business sustainably, those who do not use information technology, that person or group will be displaced from their profession or business. Therefore, it can be said that when information technology is used, it facilitates human activities, but when it is misused, it leads to the court of law.

People cannot escape from the use of information technology. Information technology has made people so busy that they are not happy without learning new topics.

Information technology has become like a potato placed in vegetables for people in any profession or community. As potatoes are used in any vegetable, the use of information technology is becoming mandatory in the work of any organization.

A person who is fluent in one language will no longer be left behind because he does not know the second language. AI, which has expanded with the development of information technology, has been able to transform language. Google has developed a system to translate various languages including Nepali.

Similarly, if we work in the direction of developing the system, the various native languages spoken in the country can be protected and promoted through information technology.

The government of Bagmati Province has put forward the policy of developing Tamang and Nepali languages as official languages. Since there is a majority of Tamang and Nepal language communities in Bagmati province, the government has taken such policies to address those communities.

Languages like Maithili in Madhes province, Awadh in Lumbini province can be taken forward as working languages. The easier it is to use information technology to develop it as a language for government work, the more difficult it is to use other options. To protect the endangered language, it is now necessary to resort to information technology.

Endangered languages and cultures will be preserved only if information technology is used, otherwise there will be no condition to preserve those languages and cultures even if nothing is done. The new generation who are interested in learning English or other international languages have started forgetting their mother tongue.

The danger of extinction of traditional knowledge and skills associated with the mother tongue is approaching. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a system to store all the languages spoken in Nepal as data and convert them into other languages.

For that, it is necessary to move forward in the direction of using the tools of artificial intelligence in information technology. Although there is no 100% translation, a system has been developed that can convert to the level of understanding. The technology may become more mature in the future.

To protect the language and culture of the minority and endangered communities, to promote the original art and culture of Nepal, and to develop tourism, artificial intelligence and the tools developed by it must be used. The faster technology is used, the faster the preservation of language and culture can be sustained.

With the help of artificial intelligence, machine learning system, algorithm, the robot can read the news from the news room. Man’s job is now to create, machine to follow man’s instructions. Machines are forcing people to be creative.

Based on the linguistic statistics of the languages spoken in all the seven provinces, it is appropriate for the federal government to make a policy plan and program to protect them using information technology. Provinces can use and practice information technology to record and preserve the language spoken and practiced in their respective provinces.

The state government does not need to guard the mouth of the federal government to protect and promote the language. As classical languages, Bhot, Pali and Sanskrit can also be entered into information technology.

Raji caste in Kailali and Bardiya are related by occupation and language. Profession and linguistic interrelationship is also connected with other languages and cultures. Caste, language, religion, culture determine the identity of a person. Protection of culture is also necessary to establish one’s own identity.

It is appropriate to give responsibility to the respective provinces to implement the report of the site study conducted in Trivenidham and Shashwatdham of Nawalparasi about the use, expansion and potential of Sanskrit language, the research report conducted in Hemza and Rupandehi of Pokhara metropolis about the use, expansion and potential of Bhot and Pali language.

The study and research report on the verification of the Sinjali special language conducted in Sinja, Jumla, and the study and research report on the customary laws of the tribal tribes should also be searched.

By adjusting the 36 common characters of the Kirati language, the Sirijanga script can be protected through information technology, and the relevant provinces can work on it after discussing with the experts.

Artificial intelligence can be used to make the program being broadcast in nine languages including Tamang, Gurung and Urdu from Nepal Television to be understood by the community of other languages. Data can be stored in such a way that the language related to that language is translated.

Google, a company can convert one language into many languages, if the federal, state and local governments work together, the languages of all cultural communities of Nepal can be converted into another language.

By doing so, it helps to transfer professions and traditional techniques related to the language to other communities as well. Just as Google converted English to Nepali, the news and opinions of different 38 languages published in Gorkhapatra Daily can be made understandable by the community of other languages in the online version.

The bill to amend the Copyright Act 2059 and the Bill to amend the Records Preservation Act 2046 submitted in the National Assembly need to reach the attention of the members of the Federal Parliament to make a legal arrangement to protect and promote the language spoken in Nepal through information technology.

If the role of provincial and local government can be clarified in the amendment of those laws, the provincial and local levels can also create laws based on their own originality and implement them. It is necessary to include the subject of using information technology in the draft of the national culture protection and promotion policy.

In the Ancient Monuments Protection Act 2013, which is in the process of the sixth amendment, it is legal to develop a system that can obtain information about the archaeological importance through the machine as soon as the information technology is used during the reconstruction, study and preservation of various temples, monasteries, madrasas and other historical archaeological objects. It is suitable to arrange.

Narayanhiti Durbar Museum and Republic Monument Management and Operation Development Committee can develop a system using artificial intelligence to provide information in various native languages including Nepali and English, targeting internal and external tourists arriving at Narayanhiti Durbar area.

Buddhist philosophy promotion and Gumba Vikas Samiti can develop a system that can give more information about Buddhist philosophy and Gumba. Pathibhara Kshetra Vikas Samiti, Boudhanth Kshetra Vikas Samiti, Manakamana Kshetra Vikas Samiti, Brihat Barah Kshetra Vikas Samiti, Halesi Mahadevasthan Vikas Samiti, Taragaon Vikas Samiti, Nepal Panchang Nirhiksha Samiti etc. can get the system automatically informed about their jurisdiction.

They can develop an automatic system to provide information about the importance of the 673 archaeological heritages that have been damaged by the earthquake and have been reconstructed. The reality is that the work of seed production, sales, distribution, supply and management through digital technology has already started in Nepal.

The data of 21 lakh 93 thousand SMS about agricultural technology and climate to 2 thousand 495 farmers is in the records of the federal government.

Bagmati state government has announced 2024 as the year of tourism in its policy and program. The federal government has declared 2022 to 2032 as the decade of tourism. The federal government has announced the launch of the ‘Visit Nepal, Know Nepal’ campaign.

Such programs can be effective only if they can be linked with the development and expansion of information technology. It is necessary to use information technology to identify tourist places, to develop a suitable information system for tourists, and to explain the importance of tourist places.

Not only do we learn other people’s languages, but when we can develop a mechanism to teach our own language to others, our language is preserved, enhanced and developed. Information technology must be used for that too.
