By scanning the QR code of Machhapuchhre Bank, the information about successful transaction will now be spoken

Machhapuchhre Bank Limited, which is aggressive in digital banking and provides simple and convenient services to customers, has launched voice box technology in QR system for the first time in Nepal.


This service has been launched from Nepal Rastra Bank Payment System Department and some other places of this bank. Machhapuchhre Bank Limited is the first bank in Nepal to use this technology.

Machhapuchhre Bank started this latest technology by installing voice box in QR from last Friday. Now the QR merchants of Machhapuchhre Bank will inform about the success of the transaction by speaking along with SMS when receiving payment through QR. As a result, the bank expects the popularity and reliability of QR to increase among customers and merchants.

Thousands of small and medium QR merchants will directly benefit from this facility. The bank believes that some payment related disputes between customers and merchants will be resolved by using it.

Currently, the service is available to Nepal Pay QR merchants and will soon be connected to other networks as well, the bank has informed.

With the aim of providing simple and convenient banking services to customers of every sector and class, the bank has been providing services to more than 1.5 million customers through 165 branches, 12 extension counters, 130 branchless banking services, 203 ATMs in all 7 provinces of the country.
