18th Anniversary Celebration of Tree Plantation in Bagmati Corridor Sakad, Organized by Ncell

On the occasion of its 18th anniversary, Ncell Aziata Limited contributed to the creation of greenery in the Kathmandu Valley in collaboration with the Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality in ward no. 1 has planted trees on both sides of the Bagmati Corridor road.

This initiative will contribute to creating a healthy environment for the entire community and help the company meet its climate change related goals, as well as contribute and help the government and the city to achieve sustainable development goals.

During a program on Thursday, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Ncell Jabbor Kayumov and Mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City Chiribabu Maharjan jointly planted trees.

Under the company’s brand promise ‘Today, tomorrow, forever together’, more than 200 trees have been planted on the right and left side of Bagmati Corridor Road, Lalitpur Metropolitan City, Ward No. As Ncell embarks on its new journey, the theme ‘We are for you’ says Ncell is committed to Nepal, Nepali society and community.

Speaking at the tree planting event, Ncell’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Jabbor Kayumov said that he was very proud to join hands with Lalitpur Municipal Corporation in this initiative for the promotion and development of greenery in the city.

Ncell, in collaboration with the Department of Forest and Land Conservation and Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality, has been working on the construction and maintenance of greenery in the green belt area of ​​Ring Road as part of its professional social responsibility.

Other programs will also be organized on the occasion of the 18th anniversary under the theme ‘We are for you’. Such programs include health camps in areas with low human development index, blood donation, friendly football matches at Lanchaur ground, visits of celebrities to Ncell centers to interact with customers, etc.
