New tool released to remove private information from Google search
Google has released a new tool that makes it easy to remove private information such as phone numbers and emails from searches. Most of us resort to Google search to know about something or the other.
Helps users find flight information for travel, save money on those destinations, protect their privacy, and much more.
The news comes from Google’s The Keyword Blog, which says the company is making changes to the Find Your tool it launched last year. When it was released, the tool began allowing users to remove personal information such as personal phone numbers, home addresses, and email addresses from Google searches.
The same tool has now been developed and will automatically monitor new personal information arriving on the Internet and alert users so that users can remove private information from appearing in searches. This service is not fully automated, but it may be updated in the future.
Additionally, Google Search will receive a new dashboard to accommodate this new feature, making it easier than ever to track and remove personal information from Google Search.
For now, this tool will only be available in the United States and English. The company said that it is working to bring this feature to more regions and languages in the future. Google is making search a bit safer by blurring out graphic and adult content by default.
The new SafeSearch feature will be rolled out this month and can be disabled if needed. In addition, the company is updating its policy regarding personal explicit images on the Internet, which will make it easier for people to remove this type of content from searches.
