Today whole world is celebrating May Day. May Day or May 1 refers to the
International Workers’ Day or Labours’ Day. Most of the countries
celebrate this day giving holiday to the public. Workers working at
different places are given a holiday today and in some places workers
are provided with awards and certificates.
Similarly, in Nepal we are also celebrating May I. In Nepali May Day is
called May Diwash and International Worker’s Day as Aantra Rastrya
Majdur-haruko Din/Dibas.
