CodeAvor competition conducted by Nima Academy to improve students’ robotics, coding, and AI abilities

Nima Academy, a leading edtech company of Nepal, is going to organize a regional competition of CodeAvor to enhance creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship skills among students from classes 4 to 12.

Known as the Global Robotics, Coding and AI Champion, the competition ‘CodeAvor 5.0 Regional’ was announced on Friday. Nima Academy is doing this kind of program for the first time in Nepal.

Nischal Pradhan, Chief Executive Officer of Nima Academy said that CodeAvor will prove to be a milestone in enhancing the excellence and recognition of students in the field of robotics, coding and artificial intelligence in Nepal.

In partnership with Stimpedia, this program will focus on empowering young students in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. About 2,000 students from more than 100 schools across Nepal are expected to participate.

Registration for this has been opened from Friday. The participants selected from among the applications received will lead the regional competition in early 2024 and receive consultation and guidance from industry experts.

The top 100 international participants will be awarded USD 25,000. This program will provide an opportunity for students to showcase their capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI) at an international level while enhancing their skills for the future.

Under this program, applications can be submitted until November and the training will be conducted in December. Then the top 10 projects worldwide will be selected for the grand finale in April 2024 in Dubai.
