Taking into consideration customer feedback, Foodmandu has made this policy change. Customers can now place orders of any amount. Previously, customers had to pay a minimum delivery fee of 50 rupees.

According to the updated policy, for distances up to 1.5 km, an additional 25 rupees per kilometer needs to be paid. For distances above 1.5 km, a flat fee of 25 rupees per kilometer must be paid. However, for orders above 1000 rupees, regardless of the distance, the maximum delivery fee is set at 75 rupees.

Founder and managing director of Foodmandu, Manohar Adhikari, stated that the requirement of a minimum order of 500 rupees has been permanently removed in relation to the new policy.

Established in 2010, Foodmandu is the first food delivery company in Nepal. It has served over 400,000 customers through more than 800 restaurants in the Kathmandu Valley and Pokhara.
