Supersonic Aircraft Set for Testing, a World’s First

The X-59, the world’s inaugural supersonic aircraft, is primed for its inaugural test flight. NASA has successfully progressed to the concluding phase of preparing for the experiment involving the supersonic aircraft, which will soar at a speed of 1500 km per hour. After two decades since the Concorde, the first supersonic commercial airliner, retired from active service, the aviation sector is poised to embark on a new era of exceptionally swift air travel. Consequently, this development will significantly reduce the travel duration between New York and London to approximately three hours and thirty minutes.
