The Perfect Time to Apply for B.Tech Programs in CS & AI and ITMA

Lumbini Technical University has extended the admission application period for ‘B Tech in CS & AI’ and ‘B Tech in IT’ at undergraduate level. The Institute of Engineering and Information Technology Studies of the university issued a notification and informed that the time has been extended by one week.

Now students can fill online application form for admission till October 14th. Before this, the admission application period was fixed till October 6th. It has been mentioned in the notification that interested students can fill the form till October 14th with regular and late fees till October 21st.

The application form fee is Rs 1500 and late fee is Rs 2500. According to the university, the entrance examination for both these subjects will be held on October 24 at the central office of Lumbini Technical University, Nepalganj. These are the courses for which admission is open.

B Tech in CS & AI

B Tech in CS and AI i.e. Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence is a 4 year 8 semester course. This course covers the subjects of both computer science and AI.

In order to get admission in ‘B Tech in CS&AI’ subject in the university, students should have obtained a minimum grade of ‘C’ or second division in physics, chemistry and maths in class 11/12.

According to the university, the minimum fee for studying this course is 130,000 and the full fee is 518,000.

B Tech in IT

B Tech in IT i.e. Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology course is also a 4 year 8 semester course. Students studying this course will be taught the subjects of IT principal, computer system, programming language, networking, database and software development.

In order to study this course, students should have obtained a minimum ‘D’ grade in any subject in class 11/12. For this, the minimum fee is 1 lakh 15 thousand rupees, while the full fee is 4 lakh 60 thousand rupees, according to the university.
