Mahavir Pun asked Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon, for a scholarship

Mahavir Pun, the founder of the National Innovation Center, has said that he has written a letter for the scholarship to Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon.

On this day 54 years ago, on the occasion of mankind’s first step on the moon, Pun shared his experience of writing a letter to Neil Armstrong.

Mahaveer Pun has said that 36 years ago, when he was blindly trying to study in America, he also wrote a letter to Neil Armstrong, the first man who walked on the moon, requesting for a scholarship.

’36 years ago today, I was blindly trying to study in America,’ he wrote in a Facebook post, ‘While doing so, I also wrote a letter to Neil Armstrong, the first person to walk on the moon, requesting a scholarship.

After reading the letter sent by Mahavir Pun, Nil through his assistant also replied to it.

“Armstrong thanked me for the letter and the plan to improve education in rural Nepal,” said a reply from Neal’s associate Vivian White. “Armstrong believes that the most important part of education is a highly motivated teacher.”

Since he is not in a position to provide financial support, he has been given good wishes and encouragement for continued success.
