Meta announces plans to remove ads from Facebook and Instagram

Ads-free Instagram and Facebook can now be used. Meta plans to bring ad-free subscription for users.


The company has also introduced an ad-free service under the Digital Personal Data Privacy Act. There will also be discussions in the European Commission to ensure compliance with data protection regulations.

Meta’s ad-free paid service will be tested in Europe for the first time. Only after this, this type of plan will be introduced for global users. This plan can be made public in the middle of 2024 or at the end of the year.

Earlier, the Wall Street Journal had reported about this plan of Meta. The company may charge $14 per month for an ad-free subscription to Instagram on mobile phones. With this plan, users can be assured of the security of their data.
