Sangeeta Pahadi Appointed as Interim Managing Director of Nepal Telecom

Sangita Pahadi Aryal, Deputy Managing Director of the company, has been appointed as the Acting Managing Director of Nepal Telecommunications Company Limited (Nepal Telecom).

According to the ministerial decision of the Government of Nepal, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology on October 17th, Pahari has been appointed as the managing director of the company until there is no other arrangement.

Earlier, she was holding the duties of Chief Technical Officer as Deputy Managing Director of the company. Nepal Telecom’s Managing Director Sunil Paudel has been suspended as he was involved in the corruption case of the National Payment Gateway. That’s why the ministry has appointed Pahadi as acting managing director.

Sangeeta Pahadi Aryal, the newly appointed Acting Managing Director, holds a B.E. from Allahabad University, India. and an M.E. from the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand. She has studied.

She entered the service on 23rd Chait 2049 as an engineer at the then Nepal Telecommunication Institute and took a permanent appointment on 10th Falgun 2051. She was appointed Deputy Managing Director on 18 January 2078.
