Spotify has a feature that allows groups to listen to audio together

Now web users can sit in groups and listen to songs on Spotify. This group session feature is brought to Spotify’s premium customers. This new update is rolling out to Spotify web users as well. On Reddit, a user has given a new update about this Spotify feature.

With the help of this feature, one can listen to the song jointly with many users. In this session, multiple users can listen to the same playlist at the same time. Along with this, all users in the group can also control playback and volume.

A new user interface has also been introduced for Spotify desktop users. To attract users, Spotify has also started rolling out a new desktop version. The company has changed the interface for users with options like “Your Library” and “Now Playing”. This change is made to give desktop experience to users in mobile apps.

According to a recent report, Spotify is working on the process of bringing audio and video features to its users.

If this happens, Spotify may come forward to compete with popular platforms like TikTok and YouTube.
