WhatsApp is working on animated emoji. WhatsApp is going to bring animated emoji feature in its upcoming beta desktop app.

In the GIF released by Wabeta Info, we can see the emoji animation. In the animation version, the emojis freeze and rotate. After adding an animated version of an emoji, even if you send a static emoji, the moving emoji itself will be shared.

There is no information about whether the animated version can be closed or not. These emojis will also have a small file size. This will help make the chat feature even more enjoyable.
