ChatGPT users’ sensitive data public


Sensitive data of chatgpt users has been made public. According to OpenAI, the data was made public due to a bug.

Then last week, OpenAI also made ChatGPT offline for some time. This bug was discovered after a user was posted on reddit showing the old chat history of another user.

This bug exposed the private data of 1.2 percent of ChatGPT Four subscribers. OpenAI has also said that this problem has been patched. The company has adopted various security measures to prevent such problems from recurring.

Due to the bug, information such as the user’s name and surname, email address, payment address, the last four digits of the credit card and the credit card expiration date were included.
