Xiaomi has discounted the price of the Redmi 10A, its budget phone, in Nepal. It is the successor of the Redmi 9A, launched two years ago.

Redmi 10A Overview
Design
Redmi 10A has an entirely different design compared to the Redmi 9A. It has a huge rectangular block on the rear that houses a fingerprint sensor and a camera module.
Design
Xiaomi has used the EVOl design on the Redmi 10A with a smudge-free textured back. On the front, it has a similar drop notch as the Redmi 9A.
It comes in three colors: Charcoal Black, Sea Blue, and Slate Gray.

Redmi 10A has a 6.53-inch IPS panel with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.

<p>Redmi 10A has a peak brightness of 400 nits and 70% NTSC coverage. Likewise, it also comes with a Reading mode certified by TÜV Rheinland.</p>
<h4>Hardware</h4>
<p>Surprisingly, Redmi 10A uses the <strong>MediaTek Helio G25</strong> chipset used on the Redmi 9A.</p>
<p>It is a 12nm chipset with <strong>Octa-core (4×2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.5 GHz Cortex-A53) CPU</strong> and PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The chipset is paired with <strong>2/3/4GB of RAM</strong> and <strong>32/64/128GB of storage</strong>.</p>
<h4>Camera</h4>
<p>The back has a dual-camera setup with a <strong>13MP main sensor</strong> and a <strong>2MP depth sensor</strong>. Note that, the Indian variant of the Redmi 9A doesn’t come with the depth camera.</p>
<p>On the front, it has a <strong>5MP</strong> selfie camera. The device can shoot video up to 1080p at 30fps.</p>
<h4>Battery and OS</h4>
<p>Fueling the smartphone is a <strong>5000mAh battery</strong>. It charges via a micro-USB and only supports <strong>10W charging</strong>.</p>
