TCL has introduced a sequel to last year’s MOVETIME Family Watch. The Family Watch 2 brings some notable changes that will allow parents to keep better track of their children’s whereabouts. TCL MOVETIME Family Watch 2 Overview

Let’s start with the whereabouts thing. The MOVETIME Family Watch 2 utilizes real-time geolocation data to log a complete location history of the wearer. Parents can access this data from the companion app. In addition, they can use the geofencing feature to get notified whenever the wearer moves out of a pre-determined safe zone.

The watch features a Nano sim card slot for communication. It facilitates 4G voice calls, text messaging, and even video calls. There is a 2MP camera for the latter. In addition, TCL has included a touch SOS call button that children can use in case of an emergency.

TCL MOVETIME Family Watch 2 Design and Display

TCL has increased the screen size to 1.54-inch. However, it is yet to mention the type of panel used. The watch has a bulky case with a dual-tone finish on top. The 2GB internal storage can be used to store photos and videos from the camera. The watch has an IP65 rating and boasts a battery backup of up to 2 days.

TCL MOVETIME Family Watch 2 will go on sale in Europe for EUR 149 starting this August. If it launches here, we expect the price of TCL MOVETIME Family Watch 2 in Nepal to be NPR 25,000.
