Lock in the office of the Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology Studies demanding online examination

The Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT) Association of Nepal has locked the office of the Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology Studies demanding online examination.

On Wednesday, CSIT Association Nepal locked the office of the Dean of the Institute of Science and Technology, Tribhuvan University.

CSIT general secretary Ashish Giri said that the dean’s office was locked demanding online examination. He said it was a symbolic protest.

A few days ago, the institute had said that it was ready to conduct the exam online. However, Giri informed that the dean’s office was locked as the institute was not ready to conduct the exam online.

According to Giri, the students were ready to take the exam online. He said that if the demand is not addressed, they will make public the programs of the movement.

CAIT Association Nepal had earlier demanded alternative methods of conducting examinations in the office of Rector, Registrar and Vice-Chancellor of Tribhuvan University and also drew the attention of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba to take immediate steps to conduct examinations by alternative methods.
